The elegantly sporty Volvo S60 returns as a mostly unchanged compact sedan. The 2021 model year of the Volvo S60 makes a few tweaks but is mostly a carryover from the 2020 model year. The Volvo S60 adds blind-spot monitoring as a standard feature along with LED headlights (with active bending), keyless entry, and a power trunk lid. Also new as a standard feature are retractable side mirrors with auto-dimming. The 2021 Volvo S60 also gets a speed limit restriction, ensuring that drivers can go over 112 miles per hour.

Futuristic Power

The Volvo S60 doesn't make any changes to its engine lineup, making the same three engines available across is three-trim lineup. The engine lineup consists of the T5, T6, and T8 eAWD. The T5 is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 that makes 250 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The T6 is a supercharged variant of the base engine, offering up 316 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Sitting at the top of the engine lineup is a plug-in hybrid engine that boasts serious power. The T8 eAWD engine touts 400 horsepower and 472 pound-feet of torque. All three engines work in unison with an 8-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard with all engines except for the T5, which is also available in a front-wheel drive version.
